This is especially true in the Summer STEAM Institute, which brings together students throughout the Charleston area and beyond. By sponsoring a student, you can help ECM ensure equal access to these nationally recognized, award-winning summer programs.

The cost to sponsor a camper for one week is $365.
"Research clearly shows many students, especially low income students, suffer learning losses over the summer unless they are involved in lots of learning opportunities. The challenges are 1) there are not many affordable summer learning programs in the communities that need them the most, and 2) some are not very interesting or engaging. The STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) summer camps offered by the nonprofit Engaging Creative Minds have found an excellent recipe for student, teacher and artist engagement...and thus student success in the summers."
