We are pleased to announce that Engaging Creative Minds (ECM) has been selected as a recipient of the proceeds of the 15th annual Kiawah Art and House Tour, sponsored by Arts, etc.   Engaging Creative Minds currently serves over 5,000 students in grades 3-8 in sixteen Charleston County Schools.  Through its arts-integration programs, ECM is able to train and employ over 50 artists to go into the schools to teach their art and the curriculum standards alongside the teachers.  In the summer of 2014 ECM launched its first Summer STEAM Institute, a hands-on innovative camp that served over 300 students, 30 of whom received FREE scholarships for the full 6-week camp.

Art to Go, a program created by the Gibbes Museum, a non-profit organization, is also a recipient of proceeds from the Kiawah Art and House Tour.  Art to Go has served over 5,000 students, and recently partnered with ECM to create add-on experiences in Angel Oak Elementary and Haut Gap Middle School.

Showcasing five beautiful homes on Kiawah Island, the Art and House Tour is a highlight of the spring season. We hope you will support Arts, etc., its commitment to Engaging Creative Minds and Art to Go, and the impact it will have on the young people of Charleston.
