Tickets Available Now for the 2017 Kiawah Art & House Tour!

We’re very excited today to announce the rapid approach of one of ECM’s favorite partnership events, the annual Kiawah Art and House Tour! Presented by the amazing Arts, Etc., the tour features a showcase of Kiawah Island’s incredible world-class architecture and home design, as well as a curated selection of works from some of the area’s most talented artists. With such a well-organized program at hand, the 2017 Art and House Tour promises, like those before it, to display some of the finest examples of what makes Kiawah and the surrounding Charleston lowcountry such a magical place.

This year also marks the third year in which a portion of Arts, Etc.’s proceeds go to support ECM programs and the students that we serve in the region. Considering the reports we’ve received from students in the past, it’s definitely no stretch of the imagination to expect plenty of eager STEAM campers again this year! Getting down to specifics, independent evaluation of ECM’s Summer STEAM Camp has gone to show that students from nearby Angel Oak Elementary showed no loss of reading and language skills and showed an improvement in math and science skills during the summer in which they attended.

With the partnership between ECM and Arts, Etc. strongly proven through the demonstrated effectiveness of these programs, and as every ticket sold to this year’s Kiawah Art and House Tour adds to Arts, Etc.’s ability to offer generous support to ECM’s in-school programming and Summer STEAM Camp, you can be sure that your attendance will directly support the improvement of local schools and the continued development of quality summer programming for our local students. Of course, you’ll also get the chance to enjoy some of the area’s finest homes and visual art at the same time! That’s definitely our kind of win-win scenario.

To add to the excitement this year, Arts, Etc. is also holding a raffle for a truly stunning oil painting of the local marsh landscape, created by renowned Charleston artist Kevin LePrince. LePrince’s work has been featured in popular publications and prestigious gallery shows across the world, so this chance to walk away with a piece of his lauded work for the price of a $20 raffle ticket can definitely be considered an uncommon opportunity! Raffle entrants are not required to attend the tour in order to be eligible, and the winner will be announced on the evening of the tour.

To purchase tickets ($55) to the 2017 Kiawah Art and House Tour, which will be taking place on Friday, April 7th from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., and for more detailed information about the event itself, including instructions on how your organization can become a sponsor of the event, you can find out all you need to know at http://www.kiawahartsetc.org/Purchase%20Tickets.htm
