Lee Graack is our next volunteer spotlight for Volunteer Appreciation Week. Lee is a high school student and volunteered last summer as a Jr. Counselor at our national award-winning Summer STEAM Institute® in Charleston, South Carolina. As a former camper herself, Lee was a huge help!
Here is what Engaging Creative Minds (ECM) Education Coordinator, Kari Maastricht, had to say about Lee’s efforts. “Lee Graack was an incredible high school volunteer at the 2018 Summer STEAM Institute®! As a former camper, she knew all about camp and quickly developed into an AMAZING volunteer. She was positive, punctual, hardworking and creative with our campers. She was ready and willing to jump in any situation and help out. Lee spent the majority of her time working with our youngest group of campers. She took the time to get to know the campers which helped them adjust quickly to their new surroundings.”
Lee shared a little bit more with us about her experience as a volunteer with ECM.
